Kennedy Lake

Located in Oakland County, Michigan

Kennedy Lake is a roughly 10-acre lake located in Holly Township, Michigan. Surrounding the lake is beautiful scenery to experience through the many outdoor recreation activities. Kayaking and fishermen can expect to catch various fish on the water.

Ascension Genesys Hospital is located about two miles north of the lake to provide any medical care or emergencies as needed.

The Bishop International Airport suits any traveling needs with amenities within the airport such as shops and restaurants while awaiting a flight. It is located about 11 miles northeast of the lake.

Outdoor Recreation

Kennedy Lake is a wonderful low-key fishing and kayaking lake, perfect for fishing and kayaking.

Nearby Seven Lakes State Park provides many activities for a beautiful day out on the family-friendly water. Boaters and fishermen can expect to cruise along with the water catching species of fish such as bluegill, pike, bass, tiger muskie, and catfish, along with a fishing pier along the shoreline.

The park features areas for hunting, hiking, and mountain biking with trails to explore nature and wildlife. A boat rental is available for canoes, kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, and row boats to go out on the water. A sandy beach area allows for swimming and relaxing on the sandy beach. Other amenities to this park are offered to bring fun, outdoor activities for all ages to experience. No alcoholic beverages are allowed anywhere in the park.

Other Leisure Activities

Just several miles north of the lake is where several local shops and restaurants can be found to eat and browse through. Little coffee shops can be found as well in that area. A couple consignment shops can be found southwest of the lake in the city of Fenton.
